Switching Your Friendly Net Access
Number
For Mac OS 8.x to 9.2:
1. Open up the Apple Menu (in the upper left hand corner of the screen) and then select Control Panels. From the Control Panels menu, select TCP/IP.
2. Change the Name Server Address field to the following addresses as pictured below:
162.33.160.100
162.33.160.110
3. Close the TCP/IP window and save the changes when prompted.
4. Open up the Apple Menu and then select Control Panels. From the Control Panels menu, select Remote Access or PPP depending on you OS version.
5. Click the arrow to the left of “Setup” so that it points downward and you are given the options to change your username, password, and access number.
6. Add “@friend.ly.net” without the quotes to the end of your username. (Example: username@friend.ly.net). Retype your password after changing your username.
7. Delete the existing phone number and enter the appropriate number for your area from the list below:

8. You may now connect or close the Remote Access window. Be sure to save the changes when prompted.
